Instructions for Admission to M.Sc. and Diploma courses through CUET(PG) – 2024

General Instructions

  1. Candidates have been shortlisted based on their CUET(PG)-2024 Score.

  2. Depending on the intake capacity, shortlisted candidate (both selected and waiting list candidate) will be notified via their registered email ID from respective departments. After receiving the email, candidates must express their willingness to take admission by replying to the email within the two days.
  3. A candidate may receive more than one provisional selection letters from multiple programmes based on their eligibility, preferences, and merit ranking. However, each candidate must choose only one programme. We advise candidates to select their programme judiciously.
  4. Upon receiving a positive response from the candidate, an admission portal link will be sent to them. Candidates need to take provisional admission by paying the required admission fees within seven (7) days from the receipt of the email.
  5. Failure to take admission within the stipulated time will result in the forfeiture of their candidature. The opportunity will then be given to the next candidate on the merit list, in accordance with the reservation policy of the Government of India.
  6. After paying the required admission fees, candidates need to visit RKMVERI, Narendrapur Campus in person with all necessary original documents along with admission cum registration form duly sign by the parent for final confirmation of their admission on or before 31 July 2024.
  7. Failure to complete the document verification within the stipulated time may result in the cancellation of admission.
  8. The classes will commence from 1st August 2024.

Certificates to be submitted at the time of Admission:

  1. Migration certificate from the Board/University in which candidate last studied at the time of taking admission or within three months.
  2. Medical/Health certificate from registered medical practitioner in the prescribed format.
  3. Conduct certificate from the Head of the Institution last attended.

Special Note

  1. Candidates after taking admission failing to attend the classes within the three days of the beginning of the session without the explicit permission from the authorities will run the risk of forfeiting their admission.
  2. Admission will be cancelled if the student does not produce his/her final semester/year mark sheets/certificate of graduation degree within 10 days of publication of the results by the respective university.
  3. No hostel facility is available at present. However, the students will be helped by the university to get the ‘paying guest’ facility in the vicinity of the university campus.
