Applications are invited for the following position in the project funded by Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), Australian Consulate General – Kolkata supported project at the Narendrapur Campus of RKMVERI.

Project Title: Strengthening Women Farmers for Food Security and Livelihood Resilience in the Indian Sundarbans

Research Assistant

Essential: Post-Graduate in Social Science/ Agriculture and Rural Development/ Agricultural Extension/ Environmental Science/Agronomy disciplines with a minimum of 60% marks

Desirable: Understanding of coastal agriculture; farming system, computer application and data analysis

Responsibility: Extensive Fieldwork and Survey, coordination, data analysis, project monitoring, report writing

Duration: Up to February 2027 or the termination of the project, whichever is earlier, in consultation with the funding agency and university administration.
