Advertisement for the post of Young Professional-I (YP-I) under the All India Network Project on Organic Farming (AINP-OF) at RKMVERI, Narendrapur Campus – December 2024

A walk-in interview will be conducted to recruit one purely contractual post of ‘Young Professional-I (YP-I)’ under the All India Network Project on Organic Farming (AINP-OF) funded by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), Indian Institute of Farming System Research (IIFSR), Modipuram, vide Ref. No. F. No. 1-42/NPOF/2015, at the Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Educational and Research Institute (RKMVERI), Narendrapur Campus.

Essential Qualification Desirable Age Limit Fellowship
Graduates in Agricultural Sciences or equivalent with minimum 60% marks from the recognized university are eligible to apply. Knowledge in conducting field trials on different crops of West Bengal, including ‘hands-on practical’ experience in various soil, plant, microbial, and molecular biology techniques The minimum age will be 21 years and not exceeding 45 years with relaxation as per rule as on the date of interview (enclosed certificate of age). Rs. 30,000 per month (consolidated)

Duration of the post:

If selected, the candidate will be initially appointed for a short period till this financial year only. Based on the performance and recommendation of the concerned PI, as well as subject to approval by the competent authority, the period will be extended.

The candidates are requested to bring a complete set of the application furnishing bio-data on a plain paper along with a copy of testimonials and all the original testimonials at the time of the interview for verification.

Terms and Conditions:

  1. ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the present employer, in case the candidate is employed elsewhere, is to be submitted.
  2. Experience certificate, if any, to be submitted.
  3. The above position is purely temporary and will be filled on a contract basis. The service of the appointed candidate will be terminated automatically if the progress is not found satisfactory or after the completion of the period of engagement indicated in the offer letter or co-terminus with the project, whichever is earlier. The candidate will not have any legal right, whatsoever, for further absorption in the concerned project or in the university.
  4. No T.A / D.A will be provided for candidates appearing for the interview.
  5. No interim queries will be entertained. Canvassing in any form will render the candidate disqualified for the position.
  6. The decision of the university will be final and binding in all respects.
  7. Age relaxation to SC/ST/OBC/EWS/physically challenged, etc., will be applicable as per the Govt. rules and regulations.
