Dr. Subhas Sarkar, Union Minister of State for Education, Government of India visited Narendrapur campus of Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Education and Research Institute (Deemed to be University) on 26 December 2022 and met the Dean, Prof. Tapash Dasgupta, the faculty-members and some of the research scholars at the Narendrapur campus.

The Honourable Minister discussed the educational activities at the university and spoke about the new education policy of the Government of India (NEP 2020). Dr. Sarkar promised to come to the university again sometime for more discussion about its educational activities.
