List of candidates selected for admission to MSc in Environment and Disaster Management (EDM) for academic year 2026-2027

Note:

  • The final merit list of candidates has been prepared by considering the performance of candidates in the personal interview conducted by respective programmes and taking into consideration the scores from either the RKMVERI Admission Test or the CUET-PG, whichever was applicable.
  • The final merit list is based on total score (written test either RKMVERI or CUET-PG + interview), not on the type of written test taken by the candidate.
  • The admission will be provisional and subject to verification of documents and fulfillment of eligibility criteria.

Important Dates:

  • Last date for online fee payment for selected candidates (NO CASH PAYMENT): 24 July 2026 (Friday)
  • Display of vacant seats on the website (program-wise): 25 July 2026 (Saturday)
  • Physical Counselling for wait-listed candidates (all programs): 25 July 2026 (Saturday)
  • Commencement of Classes for newly admitted students (Semester -I): 29 July 2026, Wednesday (sacred Guru Purnima)

Admission Instructions

  1. The online admission process will start immediately and continue up to 24 July 2026 (up to 5:00 PM). Candidates selected for admission should get admitted by paying the requisite fees by 24 July 2026 (up to 5:00 PM).
    (Apart from the Semester fee at the beginning of every semester for each programme as mentioned above, fee/charges for the field-work related activities, visits, etc. would be charged separately for field-work based activities (applicable for both UG and PG programmes) as and when applicable; Fee/Charges for Dissertation/Project work if any especially for lab based P.G. programmes and/or other programmes would be charged separately as and when applicable).
  2. Admission fees payment and document submission 
    • Once you are selected for admission, an auto-email is sent to your email ID with instructions on admission fees payment.
    • Pay the admission fees online from the Admission portal. The payment link can be found in the Dashboard of the Portal. Upon successful fee payment, the receipt can be downloaded from the Portal. This is your fee receipt.
    • Download the Admission-cum-Registration form, duly fill it up, sign it and submit it in the admission office, Narendrapur Campus, along with all the applicable supporting documents/certificates mentioned in the Admission-cum-Registration form.
    • Obtain a Physical Fitness certificate from a Physician and submit it along with the other certificates while taking admission. A sample Physical Fitness form is given here: Download the Physical Fitness Certificate form
  3. Online payment can be done 24×7 (which means all the 24 hours of the day on any day of the week). So, you need not worry about the day and the time for payment of the fees. Just make sure to pay the fees any time well before the last date and time.
  4. The last date of provisional admission is 24 July 2026 (up to 5:00 PM) by paying the above requisite fees through the online Portal will be strictly adhered to. Candidates failing to take admission by this deadline will forfeit their admission automatically and thus lose their chance of getting admitted. The vacant seat will then be allotted to the candidates in the Waiting List in order of merit.
    Please don not wait till the last date and last hour for making online payments to avoid any last-minute unanticipated problems like a lack of network, etc.
  5. Documents to be submitted at the time of admission: Candidates are required to bring all original certificates for verification, along with photocopies (Xerox) of all necessary documents for submission at the RKMVERI Narendrapur office by 24 July 2026 (up to 5:00 PM). The required documents are as follows:
    • Certificate and Marksheet of Madhyamik Examination (Class 10) and Higher Secondary (Class 12/plus two) or equivalent examination;
    • Marksheet of B.Sc. final examination (or up to the exam so far held for those who have not yet received the results of the final exam, which they should submit as soon as their results are out) (Applicable to the candidates who will be admitted to various M.Sc. and M.Sc. (Ag) programmes);
    • SC/ST/OBC certificate (if applicable);
    • Migration Certificate (if immediately available, or later when available);
    • Physical fitness certificate from a registered medical practitioner,
    • Income certificate of parent/guardian;
    • Copy of Aadhaar card.
  6. For Candidates in the Waiting List: In case of any vacancy, candidates in the Waiting List will be given a chance to take admission according to the merit in the Waiting List on 25 July 2026, through a physical counselling from 12.00 noon onwards.
    • Candidates will be allowed to choose their preferred programme based on their rank in the merit list and the availability of seats at the time of counselling.
    • If a candidate is offered a vacant seat based on their merit and chooses not to take admission, the seat will be immediately offered to the next eligible candidate (as per the merit list) who has registered for counselling and is present at that moment. Furthermore, if a candidate fails to pay the admission fees online within the stipulated time, the seat will likewise be offered to the next eligible candidate under the same conditions.
    • Candidates whose choices are confirmed during the counselling session will be required to undergo document verification immediately on the same day of physical counselling, i.e. 25 July 2026 (Saturday).
    • To secure admission, candidates must pay the requisite admission fees within one hour on the same day of counselling through ONLINE MODE ONLY (NO CASH PAYMENTS). Therefore, candidates are advised to be mentally prepared and make necessary arrangements in advance to ensure timely online payment of the admission fees.
  7. Classes will commence from 29 July 2026 (sacred Guru Purnima) at 9:30 AM. Admitted students will be given all necessary instructions before the beginning of the classes by the respective Departments.
  8. Students are expected to attend classes from the very first day and those failing to attend classes during the first three working days without prior permission will run the risk of cancellation of their admission.
