Tissue Culture laboratory at Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Educational & Research Institute (RKMVERI), Narendrapur Campus which was started in the year 2015 is one of the well equipped and properly maintained and promising laboratories. This laboratory has already working on Banana [Musa acuminata, mainly Grand Nain (G9)], Sarpagandha (Rauwolfia serpentina), Ashwagandha (Withania somnefera), Aloe-vera (Aloe indica), Brahmi (Bacopa Monnieri), Antomul(Tylophola indica), Bamboo (Dendrocalamus asper and Bambusa balcooa).
One purely contractual position of “Research Fellow” under the Plant Tissue culture unit funded by the Calcutta Toronto Foundation, Canada, will be filled through a walk-in interview.

Duration of the post:
Initially for one year which may be extended in accordance with performance and subject to the availability of funds.
